[EN] Plans for 2023

It is evident that the number of tracks I have released year on year since my entry into the music space has decreased significantly. Reflecting on it, I have been making less, too. Finishing high-school and beginning at university was a great change. As a result of these changes I regrettably have been publishing less and less from Youtube to Spotify. This blog is a way for me to reverse that, and to hold myself more accountable to my goals in my work.

2022 saw only two releases on my end, being the remastered Incantations and Avenir singles. I am happy with how these tracks turned out, but it is true that it has begun to take months for me to decide if a song is ready or worthy of sharing.

As of 2023/03/03, I am sitting on 15 tracks that have a realistic chance of making it out to you all in the form of a long album. I have never released in volumes averaging ~>3 songs per release, so such a publication would be very different for me. It is also incredibly daunting to create 15 tracks all of which I am confident and happy with, the feelings of perfectionism inhibit more often than help in this situation.

The majority of the work will take place over this summer, and I very much hope to have a solid release out to you all by September of 2023 counting 15 tracks. Plans may change of course, but I still enjoy creating music and sharing it with the world. Setting this goal for myself and sharing it on this blog will hopefully keep me accountable as the deadline draws ever closer.

Alors bref, I’m still alive, and still keeping on. I hope to post more often and keep this website well maintained for the months and years to come.
